Chulu East (6584m) climbing one of the popular climbing peak is situated on top of the Manang valley with awesome sceneries across to the Annapurna II, III and IV, Gangapurna, Glacier Dome, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho peak and Manaslu. The climb is joint with the typical trek around the Annapurna, mounting the Marshyangdi valley and crossing over Thorong La, before sliding the Kali Gandaki valley to Pokhara. The climb is strictly straightforward and you should be well-known using climbing equipment. Mostly the climbing will be concerned walking roped together, including the glacial crossings.
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Drive Kathmandu via Besishahar (6h-850m) to Syage and O/n at lodge.
Day 03: Syange – Tal village (6h-1314m) and O/n at lodge.
Day 04: Tal Village – Timang (6h-1943m) and O/n at lodge.
Day 05: Timang – Chame (5h30-2713m) and O/n at lodge.
Day 06: Chame – Pisang (6h-3185m) and O/n at lodge.
Day-07: Pisang –Manang (3500m) and acclimatization for high altitude.
Day 08: Manang to Yak Kharka (6h-4000m) and O/n at lodge.
Day 09: Yak Kharka – Chulu East Base camp (4.900 m). 3/4 h.
Day-10: Base Camp – High Camp (4955m.) & plan the climbing route and try to set up High Camp during the day.
Day 11: If well acclimatized, you could attempt the summit and if not, rest at the High Camp for the next day too.
Day 12: If weather permitting, we make the summit ascent today and return to Base Camp.
Day 13: Base camp – Yak Kharka (4000m.) 6 hours.
Day 14: Lather – Thorongphedi (4510m) – 4 hours, spend whole day for the rest.
Day 15: Thorong Phedi – Thorong-La pass (5,416m) – Muktinath (3800m) – 9
hours.
Day 16: Drive Muktinath – Kagbeni (2800m) – Jomsom (2726m) – 5 hours.
Note: If You Do Not Like To Have Further Trek May Connect Fly Back From Jomsom
Day 17: Drive Jomsom – Tatopani (1189m) – 5-6 hours, visit hot spring.
Day 18: Trek Tatopani – Ghorepani (2855m) – 8 hours
Day 19: Early in the morning ascend Poonhill (3200m) for the beautiful sunrise and spectacular views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchhre ranges. After breakfast decent to Trikhedhunga (1577m) – 6 hours.
Day 20: Trikhedhunga – Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara for an hour and stay overnight in Pokhara.
Day 21: Drive east to Kathmandu (200km/8 hrs) by bus or fly to Ktm. – 35
minutes.
Day 22: Sightseeing in ancient and historical city of Bhaktapur.
Day 23: Free days (Shopping), Cultural program show.
Day 24: Depart. From hotel and transfer to Airport.
